Valentine's Day

This has been my 26th year celebrating Valentine's Day. Maybe an ordinary day for me. I was not really expecting anything but I'm happy. Swear! No bitterness. What happen this day? There was this sort of mini-event at the office wherein we were given Valentine cards, write a love note or thank you note to someone we really appreciate. It doesn't matter if it's a friend or someone special. By the way, it was my idea to have this card-giving cause I was the office POC for events. Hindi ko napaghandaan toh. I just printed out Valentine cards taken from MS-Word graphics. Parang post-Valentine celebration na din kasi February 15 na. In the end, it was successful. Everyone participated. Ever since, I am a big fan of handwritten letters. Mas na-a-appreciate mo if you saw na nag-effort yung tao na sulatan ka. May originality. This day, I received a lot of Valentine cards. From my colleagues and team. Syempre I can't explain the feeling cause it's been a long time when I received a letter from someone. Usually ako talaga ang nagsusulat, This day, it was different. Though may sinulatan din ako. Syempre pag Valentine's Day, you're wishing that you receive something from someone you like. Pero naka-set na yung mind ko na I will not expect anything from anyone. Ang weird di ba? Last year, I celebrated Valentine's Day watching "The Vow" with Toretz. Today, I celebrated it at the office with my team and friends. Just the usual one, though my twist ng konti pero I'm satisfied. I'd like to thank the people who made an effort to write me a letter. Kay Mark Perez na super hindi ko in-expect, kasi naman ang haba nyang mag-AHT parati at sometimes he got loads of complain. Peace! Kay Trixia Villanueva whose always the first person to ask for her break schedule after I log in to Source. Kay Yumo na hindi pa talaga nilagyan ng pangalan yung letter at pauwi na ng nalaman ko na galing pala sa kanya yun. Kay Anna Sebetero, Michelle Ramos at Alpha Aurel, my new team. It was so cool receiving letters from you guys. Alam ko were just starting and we'll have a long journey pa as a team. Kay Jovel na super bait, thank you friend! And lastly, to Poy Soriano. He was always there for me and receiving this card means a lot. You're one of the person I trusted so much, sabi ko nga "my sumbungan" and my bestfriend. Thanks Poy. The feeling is unexplainable after receiving those letters. I also wrote three letters for this day. I wrote one for Sup Demi, Boss Corey and Poy. This day had been so special because I know there are people who cares for me. :) (I'll upload the letters once my BB cam is okay..)
