Douche Bag

Whenever I watched US TV series, I used to hear American girls called their male partners as "douche bag". I was wondering then what does it mean. Kasi the guys that was featured there  where like rock stars with tattoes all over their body and may piercing in the nose, tongue and brows. And the highlight is the guy pala is having an affair with another girl. One form of cheating. Pero hindi lahat ng rockstars ganun cause sometimes image talaga nila yun for the public to easily recognize them, physically. Then the girl will shout "douche bag". Nosebleed para sa akin yung term na ito so out curiosity, I searched it. Sa Urban dictionary, "douche bag" refers to a male persona behaving ridiculously in front of someone with no sense of how moronic he appears. So, sya yung tipo ng guy na walang pakialam sa sasabihin ng iba? In short, dedma lang sya kahit mukha na syang tanga. Harsh naman. According pa sa description ng "douche bag", he often talks about how cool, successful, and popular he is, yet never catches on to the fact that he comes across as a total loser.  Ang "douche bag" din daw ay yung mga guys who thinks he is accepted by the people around him, but most of his peers dislike him. He has an inflated sense of self-worth, compounded by a lack of social grace and self-awareness. He behaves inappropriately in public, yet is completely ignorant to how pathetic he appears to others. Bakit kaya they need to act like that pa wherein they know naman kung anu ang tama sa mali. In my opinion, this type of people can still change. Pwedeng lifestyle na din nila yun. Maybe he is annoying and arrogant pero sa tingin ko ginagawa nya lang yun to cover up their insecurities. So ang pagiging "douche bag" has something to do with attitude, social ability, and attire.I just hope wag ako maka-encounter ng ganitong klase ng guy.
