I am in the urged of visiting this new boutique opened last June 15 at SM Mall of Asia. It was Uniqlo. It was a clothing brand originated in Japan. Japan's richest man Tadashi Yanai is the founder of this company. Filipinos can now get their favorite Uniqlo pieces anytime they want.
There is no more need to fly to Hong Kong, Japan or Singapore to choose
from the label’s unique and comfortable style that is famously known for
good value. Filipinos love fancy shirts and cool outfits especially with unique statements printed on it. Uniqlo is going up against global fast-fashion retailers such as Zara,
Forever 21 and Gap, as well as Philippine brands Bench and Penshoppe.
But the company is bullish about the Philippine market and plans to
expand rapidly in the next few years. As part of the countdown to the grand opening, Uniqlo gave fashionistas a
little teaser last week and introduced the Filipino “cast” who were
chosen to represent its “made for all” philosophy. They are Chris Tiu,
Nikki Gil, Iza Calzado and Chito Miranda. They were chosen to be the cast members of the brand since they all have
different styles, personalities, interests and self-expression. I am thrilled about this new boutique. I saw some of the designs and prints and I am loving it. Very creative. I want to grab it and hang it in my closet. :)
