Who’s your doppelgänger?

I was browsing Saab Magalona's profile and found out an article there indicating about doppelganger. A doppelgänger, originally from folklore, is a “paranormal double of a living person” but the way we use it today is when we talk aboAut somebody looking so much like another person. A non-biological twin of sorts. So I got curious. It made me think of all the celebrities I’ve been told I look like.

Moon Bloodgood

I searched the Look-A-Like Analyzer and the name of Moon Bloodgood appeared. I don't know anything about this celebrity so I Googled it. I turns out she was in the movies StreetFighter, The Legend of Chun-li and Terminator Salvation. I kinda looked like her whenever I braid my hair.

Jessica Alba

There were certain angles or shots that I inda looked like her especially when I cut my hair short like the one in this picture. Nakaka-proud naman na lumabas yung picture nya sa celerity look-a-like analyzer na kamukha ko. Ahahaha..

Tyra Banks
A lot of my friends told me before that I looked like Tyra Banks. Sabi nila I am the skinny version of Tyra. We got the same forehead and features. My Uncle told the same thing. Wow! Si Tyra yan so grabe flattering.

Shif Bid 02.010.2013

Shift bid is over. That means I'll get a new team and let go of the previous one. Oh I hate to do that! :( I so adore Team Kargador. My new schedule now: still an 8 x 5 but with a Sum Mon rest day, not bad. But the most exciting part of the shift bid will be whose your new team. I've been nauseous for the past few days thinking whose my new agents are and was so excited to meet them. At least hoping that I knew some of them. When the file was sent out yesterday, I already saw the names. Most of them were my friends which I'm thankful and others, I need to get to know them. But at least I am satisfied with the groupings. I'll see what happen if we meet one-on-one this coming Tuesday. Keeping my fingers crossed for a good performance. :)

Why you're doing this to me??

Work is such a fun place. Maybe before. But now, it's getting too way suffocating. For no reason, I don't know why there were people love to make stories and was so happy seeing others being punished or scolded? Very strange. Ang gulo ng description ko di ba? Cause lately, I've been very stressed out not with the work itself but the people. Yeah, the people. Ang weird kasi I never had any argument with anyone sa work but for the past few days, I'm hearing side comments from other people. Things that were against me. But syempre, I am always the "dedma" type of person so I just ignore it. Kasi pag alam mo naman na ginagawa mo yung tama, you have nothing to worry about. Pero what if it's too much? Mahaba naman ang pasensya ko kaya natitiis pa. I'm glad I have my friends there who always believe and defend me. I love them so much. Totoo pala na kahit wala kang ginagawa, may mga tao talaga na maiinis sayo. Well, we really can't please everyone kaya it's better just to be myself all the time. Before my work is a very peaceful place to go for. I arrive at the office an hour earlier, go to the sleeping quarter for a nap then take calls. Now, I still arrive early to work on some reports, manage my team and attend huddles. A big transition for me that I'm used to for how many months now. I have no regrets except for the fact that my low-profile life was turned into something different. A lot of people knew me now. For some point, I earned a lo of friends. Mas madaming advantages. In this world, even though you do the right thing, meron pa ding hindi matutuwa. And the best thing to do with them: let them be. Kasi pag pinatulan mo lang, nothing will happen, i'tll just make you more pathetic. And I am not. So for those putting me down and making crazy rumors about me, thank you cause you just prove that you're such a loser. I am not mad. I just want them to be fair with everyone. :)

Poy

I considered Jay Ar Soriano as my guy bestfriend now. He was always there for me. Kahit naging close lang kami September of last year we feel so comfortable that we share anything we had in mind, most of the time work related. He was my "sumbungan" if may negative thoughts ako about work or if I felt like someone's saying things about me. He was always there to defend me. Despite of other people teasing us, I'm glad the friendship still there. If he knew that certain people are mocking and criticizing me, he also reminds me of those whom I need to trust. He never fails to listen to my problems. He was open-minded and mature. Most of the time, we only discussed things through IM, everyday yun. Lahat ng good or bad things na nangyari sa amin, we talked about it. We get strength from each other. Baduy sya pakinggan pero totoo. May mga times na he was so frustrated about his stats, he'll send me an IM and we try to cheer things up. Same goes with me. Whenever I'm mad because of the endless sermon of the bosses, he always say that everything's gonna be fine. We shared dreams. We talk about future and life. We talk about our family. I was lucky to meet him. He was kind and sobrang bait na tao. He had a big heart. One time I heard him talking to his Mom on the phone and super close nila. No doubt his Mom raised him well to be the guy he is right now. I am thankful that I've known him and we became friends. Before, all the worries, anxieties, frustrations, happiness and even success that I achieved, tinatago ko lang. But when he came, I have someone to share it with. It's a nice feeling having someone like him who will treat you nicely and cares for you. I may not have the guts to say this in front of him but I know in perfect time, I can thank and hug him for being a real friend to me. I can't count the times na he stayed by my side. All the dramas I've been to, alam nya. Anyways, we both hate drama pero sometimes hindi mo yun maiiwasan so we'll try to take it slightly. I've got guy friends at work but he and Rogan was always the one standing beside me. Kahit nonsense na ang issue minsan hindi sya nagsasawa na makinig. Alam ko he's already used to it. Sometimes pati sya nadadamay na and I feel so embarassed because of it pero he still understands. There were times I was really "makulit" na pero okay pa din sa kanya. I just hope you always stay that way. We may sometimes had opposite opinions or beliefs about certain things pero dedma nalang. I hope he can keep up with me. Sometimes also I get too way emotional or over-reacting pero okay pa din sa kanya. I don't know Poy how I will thank you na talaga for all the good things you've shown to me. By the way, I called him "Poy" cause he likes the role of John Lloyd in One More Chance. He even memorized the lines in the movie. From then, I called him "Poy". I guess I'm the only one call him that way. And I hope that doesn't bother him. Thanks Poy for everything and for being such a true friend. By the way, I was inspired to write this blog about you when I heard you talking to your Mom when we went to MOA last time. I saw how family-oriented you are and I felt like that time you're really someone I'll treasure for as a friend, bestfriend or whatever. Your respect for everyone especially to your parents is amazing. Basta if you need one, I'm just gonna be around as well. Thanks a lot Poy. :)

Cadbury :)

I am a big fan of chocolates. Nakakatanggal kasi ng stress. Unexpectedly, last November I received a Cadbury chocolate from Jay Ar. Unexpected syempre. And to tell you the truth, first time ko din maka-receive ng chocolate from a guy. I don't know what his intentions are, meron man o wala thankful na din ako. Siguro nga napilitan lang sya kakakulit ni Boss Corey pero I don't mind the reason na. I felt happy and flattered syempre. Not because Cadbury yun and kinda expensive but the person who gave it was very close to me. He was one of my closest guy friend now. Thanks Jay Ar for the chocolate. Don't worry, I kept the box as a remembrance. :)

Love Team???

with Jay Ar sipping DQ's vanilla shake

After I uploaded our Enchanted Kingdom photos, a rumor began to spread within the office. They all started teasing me with Jay Ar Soriano. He was the guy I was with when we went to Enchanted Kingdom. Grabe, I've been with the company for almost a year and first time na may ma-link sa akin na guy. Before I was the girl who goes to work, take her breaks, work with her RSR, sleep during lunch and goes home after the shift. Not been recognized by many. But now, all of a sudden I became the talk of the town. Extremely surprising. Honestly, hindi rin ako sanay. Nagkamali ba ako na i-upload ang pictures namin? I do that all the time with my friends. Then what's the difference now? Siguro they're not used to seeing me going out with them. Most likely with Jay Ar and Rogan. Kasi naman sa office sila talaga ang kino-consider na hearthrobs. Wow! I guess I'm lucky to be their friend. Sobrang bait kaya nila. Walang arte sa sarili and hindi mayabang. Admit na natin na they both look good pero they're very humble and kind. I was really shocked that they paired me up with Jay Ar. Sa una dedma lang pero habang tumatagal mas lalo kaming naging center of attention. We decided not to care about it. Hanggang nasanay nalang sila na makita kaming magkasama na nagla-lunch at nag-uusap. Sometimes hindi mo din maintindihan ang ibang tao. Pero things turned out very well pa din naman in the end. And the good thing about it, we are still friends up to now. Dedma nalang ang chismis and negative remarks. Mas naging close pa nga kami eh. We no longer care what other will say, we do things we think is right. He was a good person. And habang tumatagal mas nakikilala ko pa sya. Nakakatawa man pero till now buhay pa din ang love team namin. Parang showbiz lang kami. I want a very low-profile life pero mahirap pala once you're placed in the limelight. Tuloy, ang dami ng nakakakilala sa amin. Even the new batches of newbies, familiar sa aming dalawa ni Jay Ar. Well, ganun talaga. Siguro we will always be a love team. And that sometimes makes us go crazy. Funny but true. :)

EK Time! :)

When I became an OIC like around month of August, I really forgot the exact date, I was busy with work and handling my team. What's good about it was I've met new friends. Not that I don't have a lot of friends at work, it's just that the friends I got now were someone I can lean on anytime. We went to Enchanted Kingdom last September 22, 2012. It was a plan for the longest time and I'm glad it came true. Whew! I went there with Anna, Jay Ar and Rogan. I knew them for quite sometime but were not really close not after this Enchanted Kingdom experience. I can no longer recall the last time I went there. Probably way back my high school days, that was a long time already! The place was totally different now with additional rides and much bigger space. I still hate to ride the Anchor's Away but I had nothing to do, they want to try it so I'd go. I pretended like I was not afraid but my heart beats so fast that I feel like I am going to collapsed anytime. We had several rides. Ferris Wheel, Jungle Log Jam, Bump cars and the most meorable Rio Grande were we all got soaked and wet. It was fun. Though it was raining, it was cool hanging out and meeting new friends. They're all nice and very kind. I am so happy we got the chance to know each other. Till our next "gala" mode. :)
