Our First Teamwork

My brother and I always fight for nonsense reasons. It became a habit already that our day is not complete without arguing for something, most of the time just because of the remote control. He wants to watch PBA and I want to watch New Girl. Well, we both have opposite interests. But it was just natural. After how many minutes, were okay. We are just both crazy. I remembered last year there is one moment that we decided to be good. I printed out some of my pictures and sometimes I am a messy person so I just placed it anywhere in the house. My bro decided to post those pictures in the door of my closet. We helped each other. I made the captions and he cut out some papers for sort of a background. And when we are done, it looks like an Instagram. Very touching cause those pictures means a lot to me. :) Thanks bro. :)

Last Sunday I had one of the best summer treat of my life. Finally, our family bonding came true. Well, we always go  out and stroll around but this one's different since this was our first swimming bonding for how many years of my existence. Exaggerated but true. We have been planning this for a week and was re-scheduled due to a lot of circumstances but last Sunday it did pushed through. I am happy. My family are all homebody type of person. It's very rare that we go for a swim. I have my Lolo and Lola come with us. I want them to enjoy as well. Of, course the ever-loving daughter of my cousin Bryan also came with us. Euna is a stand-out that day. Ate Alex and Riyou was present as well. I love family bonding cause it makes you feel closer to each other. The feeling is so incredible that day. True happiness really comes from the people that you love. And in that moment, I felt very contented that I can't ask for more. I am blessed because GOD gave me a wonderful and caring family. I love them so much. And since this is our first time for a swimmng bonding I'll post some of our pictures here. Thanks to my B-by Channing for capturing the good moments. :)

Unique iPhone Cases

I don't have an iPhone but this picture just caught my attention. I was reading some articles when I saw this picture of different iPhone cases. I am aware of the plain and the jelly style cases but this one that I saw is totally weird and unique. I have my Ipod with the black glitter case and I'm happy with it. I never saw eye-catching designs before as if it has a motif. The person who created this is truly creative. I want to own any of the pieces. In the picture will show a fishball case with even a stick on it. Another one is the sushi case which looks very fresh and delicious. I am so amazed with the other one where you'll see heart-shaped chocolates with truffles and cherries that looks like a real one. There's even a bacon topped with an egg case which symbolizes breakfast time. Another unique case is like a toasted bread and a veggie case with prawns on top of it with some seasonings. The mastermind of this iPhone cases only shows that he/she is a food lover. Every design has food as it's main course of creation. Some of it looks real that you might want to pinch and take a bite, I'm sure if kids will not be aware of it they'll think of it as an enticing food to sustain the cravings. My favorite is the dessert case with chocolates and cherries. It looks very sweet. Anyway, I am not into gadgets but it does not necessarily mean I can't have this one. I'm in a hurry to own one. I hope I know where to find this eccentric cases. :)

Fabulous Nail Art

I am a big fan of putting incredible colors of nail polish every week. Yeah, cause it gives me a flattering feeling whenever I look at it. Every week I always comes up with surprising colors. Now, I have this yellow green nail polish in my hands and feet. I think every girls loves to have their nail polish being set up with unique prints and colors. I haven't tried the print ones but have seen a lot of my friends have it and it looks tremendously attractive. I am always on the plain side. I tried the common nail polish colors such as black, blue, green, red, brown, pink, silver, purple, the tip style and even the glittered one. The wildest color I've ever had is the neon orange. It still looks good on my hands. A while ago, I was browsing the web when I saw this fabulous nail art. I never imagined that putting nail polish is even undergoing the transformation process as well. I guess everything is having its own version of uniqueness and cleverness. I am okay with it and I'd love to try it. There's even a new technique for nail extension. I have here some pictures of the nail art I saw online. I want to try this soon. :)

My nail polish as of today, the ever lovely yellow green. I love the color cause it's giving me a taste of summer. It's just that my hands here looks very stiff.

This is what they called as the "retro" nail polish. I love the color combination. Very artistic piece that will looks perfect in every girl's hands.

I forgot how they call this nail polish art. So I named it as the "zig-zag" nail art because of the prints. This is very catchy and trendy. I wonder how my fingers look like when I have this. 

This is the "leopard" nail art but in a neon shadow of green, black, blue and yellow. A very fierce design.

Here are some of the nail art I saw online that I love to have one of these days. Girls will always be girls especially when it comes to feeling attractive not just with clothes but also on their nails. Well, guys won't mind holding a hand with very fabulous nail art. I bet they'll hold it much tighter. :)

Dau Thrift Items

Today, I went to Dau. Not the one in Pampanga. This is a thrift shop located in the center of Malolos in Bulacan. I used to go there whenever I want to buy pieces of clothes in affordable prices but still in cool and good quality. It was a small boutique located in the public market. I'm lucky I was able to find it. You will see different clothes in variety of styles and sizes. From rugged to colored pants, tights, leggings, maong shorts, floral and plain blouses, jackets and even unique pairs of shoes. Everything that you need to look presentable, artsy and fashionable you can find it there. I can't count how many clothes I bought there in the past years and still have it in my closet, wearable and of course in fine condition. I don't really much believe that if you buy clothes in cheaper price,s it tends to loosen up and looks untidy as you try to wear it over again. It's how you take care of the clothes. This place is very good for those who wants to look fashionable but still have something left in their pocket when they try to shop here. Affordability is important and also quality and that is what you can achieve when you go to Dau. Pricey, lovable, simple and sophisticated clothes that will fit everyone's style and tastes in fashion. I bought two pieces earlier. One is a black formal blouse and a summer floral dress. It fits me well. I'll wear it at work. I'm just happy that I want to share it. :)

Chucks

I am not a fan of wearing heels. I am used to flats and sneakers but this one never fails me. My favorite for now. My black sneakers from Converse. I bought it a month ago and I can't count how many times I wore it already most especially at work. I love it cause I feel comfortable and you can pair it with anything. I am planning to collect different colors of it. I already have a blue and pink one in my shoe box and I want to buy the gray one. Wearing this gives me a happy-go-lucky version of myself. I don't know why but that is just what I feel. I just like to share this one. Hopefully next time with different sets of colors. :)

Harlo's Dream

All of us have a dream. From smallest to the most extravagant even with the impossible ones. I guess that is one of the things we get in our life for free. But it never ends there, like a sketchpad, we need to draw and put colors on it. Just when people and yourself finally appreciate it that you can say you already fulfill it. When I was young, I dream of becoming a teacher but when I reached college I did the opposite. Since it was one of my dreams then I never stop aiming for it so I still do voluntary works at the Kid's Church in Victory Ortigas every Sunday and I can't describe the feeling of being called "Teacher April" by my students. Priceless. My work there is slightly easier compared to the real world of being a teacher. The point is I experienced it even for a short time. I even had this crazy dream to meet my ultimate crush Matteo Guidicelli. This is something I never thought would happen cause he is a celebrity and I am just an ordinary girl. I can call myself a "fan". But who cares? I am happy. All of us have someone they look up to and he is one of them. Again, I aim for it and I met him personally and even made friends with him until now. After all, he is a cool and very kind guy. That is also something I won't forget for the rest of my life.

Wait. Why am I talking about dreams? It is because one of my closest friend is getting his way on reaching his dream. This dream is a huge one. Something that will change his life forever. I know I don't have to spill the beans now cause this is still a secret but I am just proud of him. I can't control my emotions. Weird. Ever since we became friends I never thought he's good in singing. It doesn't show the first time you look at him. He seems to be quiet, a bit moody and usually gets cranky every 12 midnight but this guy is talented. His voice is incredibly amazing. I love his rendition of any John Legend and Michael Buble's song and for God sake even Bruno Mars. I just hate him whenever he sings Tatay Brad's choices of songs cause it doesn't fit his voice. Too old for him. Peace out Tatay. Well, you know what to do when you see him not feeling well. You just send him in a videoke booth, give him a microphone and let him sing and it will reverse his mood. Never thought again that singing can be so relaxing and inspiring. I can sing but again for the sake of singing. It is not my forte but at least I'm trying. I can sing Avril Lavigne's "Complicated" properly, that was my Dad told me when he heard me singing that song. At least I have a fan. Before I forgot his name is Harlo. Just don't ask why it's start with letter "H" instead of "K". He also called me "Hapril" so don't even bother. That is our barkada's term of endearment. Harlo works in a bank and a good son. Whoa! I do not know if he will going to change his field now since he's climbing his biggest dreams. Well, Harlo sorry but I need to reveal this so that people know how deserving you are. He's joining X-Factor, one of the biggest show in ABS-CBN. There's also one ongoing in the US now and I heard Britney Spears will be one of the judge. But this is our Filipino version. It is not being aired yet but real soon. Yeah, real soon that I can't wait to watch. He's been through a lot of auditions, recordings and already sang a lot of times to get to the top. Just today, he sang with the executives and waiting for the result next week. I know he did well. Let's just keep our fingers crossed. He made it that far already. He had a good voice so he deserve to get that spot. I realized that Harlo is finally coming out of his shell showing his real talent and I do hope that people will recognize it and give him credit for that. His voice needs to be heard. There's a lot of good singers out there and the competition is very tight but knowing him going through already the efforts and sacrifices just to get to the audition made him a winner and a finalist already for us. His family is for sure really proud of him. Life is hard. Nothing comes easy. I know he worked hard to earn it and there is always a reward for that. I am praying that GOD will let him be part of the finalists of X-Factor. It will be a dream come true for him. We want to see him in his best version of himself showcasing his talent. He love to do this craft so I am wholeheartedly praying that he'll get it. But no matter what happen, we will always be there for him. Never give up. Never stop trying. And like one of my friend told me, have faith in yourself. Faith allows things to happen. So Harlo, we all wish you goodluck. You are building your biggest dream now and we all your friends are proud of you. Stay strong and always sing with passion. We love to see you being the next Jovit Baldivino. I know that waiting for the result is prolonging your excitement but I know it's still worth the wait. :)
